Hazy honey coloured body, big creamy white head.
Spicy aroma; clove, pepper, bitter citrus, backnotes of sugar syrup, apricot and peach.
Thick texture, sticky, slight creaminess combinates with peppery alcohol warmth.
Pepper and bitter orange on the body, unripe stonefruit and apricot and clove on quite a bitter warming finish.
BIG blonde ale, can’t imagine drinking many of these, but, man, it’d be nice! planky84 (121), , Greater London, England

Pours a cloudy honey orange with some floaters and a 2 finger thick beige head that leaves nice lacing. The nose is fruity, spicy yeast, light tea, and malt. The taste is dates, caramel, spice and some alcohol bite in the end. Medium bodied. Nice Belgian. Thanks again Dan! mcdav2154 (297), Germany
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 14, 2009 Light hazy staw color with a white head. No lacing but a lot of sediment. Aroma is yeasty and fruity. Taste was also yeasty with the malty sweetness on the front and is stop in its tracks by its assertive bitterness at the end without being astringent. Finishes clean. Overall nice brew. Ughsmash (4016), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA

Poured slightly hazy medium orange with short cap of dense off-white head. The aroma picked up candied apricots and other light fruits & bready malts topped by spicy yeast and banana accents.. tart and brighter than expected, but alright. The flavor found tangy medium-skinned fruits and berries along with pale malts and sourdough bread.. white peppery spices and toasted banana around.. finished spicy, warm, and grainy. Medium-plus bodied with a scratchy feel on the palate.. this just didn’t come together well for me. azlondon (662), Fribourg, Switzerland

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 22, 2009 Bottle. Pours golden orange with a short lasting white head. Aroma consists mainly of apple, cinnamon, yeast and a hint of caramel. Flavour is fairly similar but with a bit of citrus, a little less spice, a touch of honey and a noticeable amount of candi sugar, although the alcohol is very hard to detect. Nice but you wouldn’t want to be having more than a couple in the one evening. ska (126), Italy
