Feb 24, 2008 Hazy blond colour with thin tight head. Fresh, light, zesty aroma. Flavour is really dry which is a consequence of the alcohol although there is no taste of alcohol itself. Some hoppiness and a little sweetness comes through too.

Feb 14, 2008 330ml bottle from the Thirsty Monk in Asheville, NC. Honey colored body, ample off white head with good staying power. Thick with sediment. Aroma was forgettable. Flavor started with a syrupy sweetness that was a bit overpowering. Finish was more satisifying with oranges and cloves. Mouthfeel thick.

Feb 7, 2008 Bouteille de 750 ml partagée avec MartinT, Rastacouere, Cathschlag et Beerbuzzmontreal. Arôme: Odeur d’épices et d’agrumes avec une pointe d’apricot. Apparence: La couleur est blonde orangée voilée. Présence d’un mince col mousseux et d’une fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Goût d’épices et d’agrumes avec une pointe de miel. Jan 12, 2008 Bottle, from a gift pack. These Kapittel beers were pretty good overall. Of the four in the gift pack, I think this one and the pater were my favs. This was really light for a quad. Sweet, strong, tasty.

A smooth, elegant, stong blond beer. Belgian yeast profile.
The full alcohol shines though, which is not too pleasant. Fine, but not sophisiticated.
