A smooth, elegant, stong blond beer. Belgian yeast profile.
The full alcohol shines though, which is not too pleasant. Fine, but not sophisiticated. SSSteve (2073), Atlanta, Georgia, USA

Pours a deep yellow with a small creamy white head that leaves super lacing. Lots of particles in the liquid. Aroma is sweet, with oranges, honey, light yeast. A little vinious feel. Good mouthfeel. Flavour is vinious and warming, some yeast and good exotic fruit sweetness. Not that overwhelming, but still nice. DYCSoccer17 (2192), Davis, California, USA

Nice aroma with lots of herbal spiciness, sweet, honey-like notes, and herbal presence. Quite aromatic and quaffable. Body is a moderately hazy golden-honey color with a nice, frothy, off-white head and good lacing present. A little light in color for this particular style. Quite sweet, sticky, doughy, honey-like maltiness present. Becomes a bit herbal and floral, but this is a bit cloying and a little over the top. Finishes with a bit of spicy hoppiness. Had a lot of potential, but this doesn’t live up to it. bhensonb (4289), Woodland, California, USA

Pale amber color with a decent off-white head. A bit of lacing. Medium body with creamy carbonation. Flavor is caramel with date or near dark fruit. Something spicy as well. It tingles the tongue. Could be clove, but the complexity is confusing. Finish is sweet, but as the sugar drains away some bitter and spice balance the malt. Very good drink. IrishBoy (2713), Bakersfield, California, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 29, 2007 Bottle. Hazy gold, with a thick, loose, off-white head, that laces well. Pleasing, off aroma of a Belgian ale. Rich and tangy, with an oily mouth feel and a tingle of alcohol. Beershine (2710), Where Climate Suits My Clothes, Vietnam
