Oct 29, 2007 Bottle. Hazy gold, with a thick, loose, off-white head, that laces well. Pleasing, off aroma of a Belgian ale. Rich and tangy, with an oily mouth feel and a tingle of alcohol.

Oct 22, 2007 Bottle @ Beer Mania. Labeled as "Tripel Abt," which ought to make style-nerds scratch their heads. Just goes to show that tripel and abt are not really cohesive styles. But I digress. This is a hazy, golden beer with a lasting white head. Sweet and malty nose with caramel and white raisins. It’s a sweet beer with a thick mouthfeel, and I couldn’t restrain the image of drinking cotton candy. Tasty but cloying. Taste some darker fruits despite lighter malts. Very light bitternes with some alcohol showing through. I was in the mood at first, but in the end it was too sweet to enjoy the whole way through. Would be a fine dessert to split with someone.

Oct 15, 2007 Bottle @ Delirium Cafe, Brussels. Pours amber / golden with decent white head. Aroma is sweet / spicy. Taste is malty with quite a bitterness too. Some alcohol in the finish. Nice enough beer.

Oct 13, 2007 Hazy amber beer with a typically large white head that fades to leave a thin covering, aroma is zesty and malty with an at first sweet and alchol taste but 2nd, 3rd and more the bitter finish just overpowers.

Oct 6, 2007 330ml bottle. Bright gold colour with a decent white head. Sweet malt aroma with some honey and yeast. Flavour had more sweet malt and some spice before an alcoholic finish. Very enjoyable.
