| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 15, 2007 Orange unclear with very fine head. Malts, orange, apricot , spice & yeast. Medium body. Alcohol is preset - warming!. Good head & lacings. 2 years in the cellar will "destroy" the alcohol feel and make this a 4 rating. Had expected a bit more!!! Fin (3460), Merton, Oxfordshire, England
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 12, 2007 Bottle, at Cafe Le Paix, Poperinge, West Flanders, Belgium 27-06-07. Glowing orange in colour with haze and white bubbly head, wonderful beer with lovely balance of sweetness and bitterness. This had more depth of flavour and complexity than the Guldenberg it was being tasted alongside, this didn’t necessarily make it a better beer but in Loz’s opinion it was. marcus (1895), Sacramento, California, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 6, 2007 This golden ale poured with a fluffy off-white head that subsided rather slowly. The flavor is malty and nicely spiced - starts off sweet with a long bitter finish. The alcohol is noticeable in the aroma, and quite overwhelming at the end of a sip. This is not as easy to drink as other abts and quadrupels I have enjoyed.
