Poured into my tulip and admired the opaque light orange color with a nice thin but staying film of light airy foam. Just the faintest aroma of orange mist. Wow, such a nice tight bitter orange flavor here, stingingly acidic, but still well rounded and fruity. This is what Belgian beer is all about. To think I used to not like stuff like this. Wonderful. Quite well-balanced. jalichio999 (502), Brazil
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 13, 2007 Updated: Aug 18, 2007Bottle, 330 ml. Muddy amber coloration. Excellent aroma. Complex. Notes of caramel, honey, metallic, toasted malt and very discrete orange. Good cream. High carbonation. Perceivable bitter taste, bothering me. On the other hand, it has not a perceivable alcohol. Weak points: accented carbonation and bitter taste. reakt (937), Greater London, England
