Dec 5, 2005 Faint scent of yeast in the aroma and a light banana. Appears coper colord with haze developing, and head is a thin white coating. Heavily spiced with pepper, clove, and other spices sparked from the yeast used.

Dec 4, 2005 Bottle. The beer settles nicely in the glass. Beautiful amber colour. First sip did not yet reveal the full tast. The beer got better while drinking it. In the end I was really impressed.

Nov 23, 2005 Pour very slowly, thick pillowy white head that stays and leaves a good lace. Cloudy amber color. Good carbonation and medium bodied. Sweet malty nose. Starts sweet, smooth, no alcohol, finish is very mellow. It would be better to have a 500ml bottle of this. Pricey, $4.89 for a 330ml bottle from Tulley’s Beer & Wine Wells, Me.

Nov 8, 2005 (Bottle) Pours a cloudy orange-brown body with a large off-white head. Aroma of caramel and fruit. Similar flavor with a creamy texture and soft carbonation.

Nov 3, 2005 Bottle. Sweet malt and apple aroma - hint of the alcohol content. Orangish tan color with small head. Sweet orange and apple flavor up front with pepper and chocolate notes ending with a fairly strong alcohol and hops finish. Alcohol content is not as well hidden as the higher quality abts but still a fairly nice beer.

Oct 24, 2005 Light brown, small creamy head. Sweet aroma of candid sugar, almond, chocolate and alchohol. Alcoholic flavour of chocolate, cherries and almond. Cloyingly sweet and alcoholic aftertaste.

Oct 8, 2005 33 cl bottle, bbe June 08. Amber with an orange hue and a slight haze, weak sparkling. Frothy off-white head, not of a bad size for such a strong beer. Sweet aroma of molasses mixed with a flowery, perfumed one of hops, with a resinlike touch. Sweet, gently fruity taste with alcohol and a rather long dry, bitter and lightly peppery, even peaty finish. Full body, creamy texture, soft carbonation and moderately astringent alcoholic finish. A solid brew, sadly alcohol is too pronounced. There’re better barley wines out there.
