33cl bottle, purchased on my recent trip to Brussels. Pours a copper to orange hue and makes a huge fuffy white head into my Duvel glass. Head is long lasting and there’s nice lacing on my glass. Aroma is sweet clove/coriander, fruity and floral, notes of banana. Flavor is rich of sweet complex malts, spices and a slight alcohol bite, bananas, clove, coriander, mild citrus. Full bodied, rich and creamy texture on the palate, goes down very smooth and finishes dry. This is very good, I would buy it again.

Deep golden, dim appearance w/ a white head that instantly was gone. Fruity aroma, sweet orange, sugar (? trying to remember). Sweet to the taste, too sweet. A little burnt and fills up the mouth w/ the rich tastes that I can’t fully recall (I need to rate while I’m drinking).

Hazy dark golden with a thin white head. Floating gobules in the beer, only visible on inspection. Don’t really care. Estery aroma of bubble gum, oranges, cherries. The taste has a yeasty bite. Taste is sweet with alcohol promeniently displayed, some notes of oak and spice. The body is quite thick, it coats the mouth. The carbonation is very high. Finishes with a slight burn: lightly sweet, lightly bitter, moderately acidic. There is alot of alcohol here, but you may not realize until it’s warming up your belly. Tasted and looked like an old bottle that has yeast autolysis, despite the ’best before’ date of 03/06. I do not think this would age well. I still enjoyed this, although there are a number of better quads.

Pours out more like a tripel than a quad with some nice gold, albeit cloudy qualities Smells of cotton candy, caramel, toffee, and raisins with a light coffee quality. Tastes of nutmeg, coffee, caramel, dried apricots, brown sugar and hot chocolate with a very sweet and complex aftertaste.

330 ml bottle. Cloudy golden colour with lots of particulate and a mostly lasting frothy and rocky off-white head. Citrus caramel, and lightly alcoholic aroma. Light caramel and citrus buried underneath a roasty, licorice, and very alcoholic bitter finish. Full bodied and hot mouthfeel.

Bottled. Cloudy golden orange colour. Big frothy head. Honeyish malty, sweet aroma with fruity notes, mainly peaches. Malty, quite sweet taste. Fruity and with a little alcohol burn in the mouth, though alcohol doesn´t show in the flavour. I find it mabye a tad one-dimensional. Not anything like the other abts I´ve had.

(bottle) Slightly hazy golden colour with a big foamy white head. Sweet malty aroma with oranges and spice. Initially sweetbitter malty taste with a distinctive orange peel fruitiness and a smooth bitter and spicy finish. The alcohol is extremely well hidden.
