330 ml bottle. Cloudy golden colour with lots of particulate and a mostly lasting frothy and rocky off-white head. Citrus caramel, and lightly alcoholic aroma. Light caramel and citrus buried underneath a roasty, licorice, and very alcoholic bitter finish. Full bodied and hot mouthfeel.

Bottled. Cloudy golden orange colour. Big frothy head. Honeyish malty, sweet aroma with fruity notes, mainly peaches. Malty, quite sweet taste. Fruity and with a little alcohol burn in the mouth, though alcohol doesn´t show in the flavour. I find it mabye a tad one-dimensional. Not anything like the other abts I´ve had.

(bottle) Slightly hazy golden colour with a big foamy white head. Sweet malty aroma with oranges and spice. Initially sweetbitter malty taste with a distinctive orange peel fruitiness and a smooth bitter and spicy finish. The alcohol is extremely well hidden.

Nice peach orange with a sweet fro of white bubbles, ala Ben Wallace. Smell is weird caramel, and a funky trash/permed hair smell. Taste is sweet, with bandaids, blood, sugars and alcohol. Some dryess from the bitter German hops in aftertaste. Strong in a bad way.

a light golden color huge frothy white head and lots of carbonation bubbles not much lacing. Smells of light fruit, pepper, and bread and some alcohol. Palate is big creamy smooht and warming only lightly carbonated. Flavor is a very sweet malt a doughy bit hints of pepper and other spice as well as lots of fruit and some other sugars. A decent beer but a bit to sweet for me.

Hazy orangish brown color with an off-white head. Pepper, fruit, green bean and bread aroma and flavor. Highly carbonated with a semi-dry finish.

Cloudy roangeish brown color with a small creamy off-white head. The aroma and flavor had some nice apricot, pepper, and sweet bready/yeasty tones. The feel was very gassy...lively, crisp carbonation with a semi-dry finish.

Draft, half pint. Man, I was sure this wasn’t the Abt when I was served this beer...lighter than I’ve ever seen one...but it seems to fit what others are saying. Golden-blonde hue with a white, creamy head. Banana, lemon, honey, herb, anise (very light), and toffee aromas. Comes across like a sweet fruit bread. Heavily sweet, moderately acidic flavor becomes a moderately sweet, moderately acidic, moderately bitter finish. Medium-full body, creamy texture, lively carbonation. The bottom line is: nice fruit esters and decent body, but not much else going on.
