On draught at the brewery tap. Brightish orange with lively head. Aroma of orange peel and coriander. Decent body. Sweet start, drier in the finish. One notch down from the St Bernardus Abt, but should improve with storage.

I would recommend this beer...but compared to some of the other Abts I’ve had (Westvleteren, Rochefort, St. Bernardus, Achel); this one is just not in the same league. Still not bad. Pours a hazy brown-yellow with a scummy head. It had a sweet slightly grainy smell, with some champagne aroma. Flavor is very malty with a touch of metallic-ness and some sweetness. Quite a bit of bitterness from in the back of the mouth - pretty good. Firm mouthfeel with a bitterness that lingers. Feel was clingy but not sticky. I had this at the Poechenellekelder across from the Mannekin Pis in Brussels.

Ambrée orangée trouble avec une mousse fine. Goût fruité et légèrement épicé avec une sensation d’alcool prononcée. Légère amertume.

Very light cloudy orange brown with a substantial two finger off white creamy smooth head. Yeasty malty notes, alcohol and green raisin aroma. Creamy nutty malt tastes with a small alcohol bite and a dry finish.

From bottle at In de Wildeman. Hazy amber with a big, yellowish head. Fruity aroma with hints of pear. Complex fruity and yeasty flavours, very bitter. Medium to full body, fizzy. A drinkable beer that hides its strength well.
