Ambrée orangée trouble avec une mousse fine. Goût fruité et légèrement épicé avec une sensation d’alcool prononcée. Légère amertume.

Very light cloudy orange brown with a substantial two finger off white creamy smooth head. Yeasty malty notes, alcohol and green raisin aroma. Creamy nutty malt tastes with a small alcohol bite and a dry finish.

From bottle at In de Wildeman. Hazy amber with a big, yellowish head. Fruity aroma with hints of pear. Complex fruity and yeasty flavours, very bitter. Medium to full body, fizzy. A drinkable beer that hides its strength well.

Smelled sweet from across the table, sitting outside. But with the taste came a much crisper body with a very dry finish. very ’short’ taste before the dry hits, with lingering candied fruit. Alright.

Bottled(330ml). -as Het Kapittel Tripel Abt.
Orange/golden coloured, medium sized white head that went away slowly, dry yeasty fruity nose. Spicy coriander, light yeasty weak fruity and alcoholic taste with unpleasant metallic notes in the finish. In comparison with St. Bernardus Abt this one sucks.

Bottle. Amber beer with a nice whitsh head. Malty, toffee aroma with some yeast and a touch of spice. Richer malt flavor with some caramel, light plum/fig fruitiness and nice complementing yeast/spice. Fuller bodied. Lingering rich caramel malt with nice yeast and a bit of fruitiness and spice. Nice balance.

Dirty brownish orange, moderate almond coloured head with brief retention and a little lacing. Sweet demerara sugar aroma, a little spicy. Sweet and spicy up front with a touch of cooked apples/pears, a peppery hop character in the finish along with well-integrated warming alcohol. Quite nice actually.
