Ober (187), Best, Netherlands Apr 27, 2008 An orange colored beer. The bubbling is going on. A beautiful white head. It has an aroma, which is very hoppy, with a kind of sweetness in the back. Also a little spicey. The taste is hoppy amd yeast, with very nice fruits in the back, maybe a touch of abricot. I Like this beer very much.
dkachur (575), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA Jun 30, 2008 Bottle from somewhere in Richmond, VA. Hazy orange-amber with minimal head. Spicy, nutty caramel aroma. The first thought that came to mind with the taste was rice. Some fruity notes as well. Odd character to this one. Slightly sticky and full bodied. goldtwins (3658), Nesconset, New York, USA Jun 12, 2008 Poured a hazed copper with a large off-white head. Odd yeasty aroma and taste with some notes of browned golden delicious apples. Paper and plastic taste as well. Fruity apple aroma. Medium bodied. Palete: Liquid is a bit thin but very smooth. Low carbonation.
Another fine belgian ale that does its country justice. 10% ABV and i couldn’t even detect a wee hint of alcohol. Very smooth indeed! I’ll be drinking this one again!
