The head is white and nice with a good lace. The color is like a piece of hazy amber. The aroma has notes of yeast and fruit and the mouthfeel is full. The flavour is refreshing with notes of flower, honey, light spice, fruit/citrus and sweetness. There is almost no bitterness, but the finish has nice citrus notes. A nice blond, that I would prefer somewhat fuller.

Bottle (from bitter Virtue). Pleasantly mild spice with fresh fruity stoned fruits. Good hoppiness with a little zest, spice and almost earthy finish. Sweetness is at a good level and gives the beer a rounded body but finishes reasonably dry and doesnt get too sticky.

Bottle at home. Unclear yelleo with a large white head, some lacings. Aroma moderate/heavy malty (citrus, spices), light hoppy. Flavor moderate/heavy sweet, light bitter. Medium body, despite this watery and thin.

Bottle, 75cl corked. Pours almost clear, with a nice, dense and lasting, white head. There’s some floaties as well. There’s banana, some citrus-notes, spices, a light hoppiness and a good dash of cellar in the aroma. Nice, but a bit boring. The flavor has a bit more to it, with alcohol added, giving it a warming mouthfeel. A bit thin body, with some wheaty notes in the finish, as well as a little hoppiness and spicyness. A quite nice and drinkable beer, but nothing to repeat too often. (070428)

Savannah, Ga. - Habersham Beverages - 330 ml bottle. Bright, medium golden to light orange pour. Soft, clingy white head - fades after a while. Hnt of white grapes in the aroma, some cereal. Flavor is on the sweet side with some light citrus notes. Hints of yeast, some wheat breakfast cereal - some spiciness. Decent mouthfeel, some light cabonation which sits right in this one. Nothing specatcular - just a solid everyday Belgian.

Produces a frothy, light tan colored head that starts out about three-fingers in height and leaves a nice lacing pattern on the sides of the glass. The beer is a reddish tinted, copper colored brew and is brilliantly clear. The aroma smells of sweet malt notes, butterscotch, sweet grapes, musty crackers and biscuit malt. Fruity notes of apple and light berry notes are also noticeable in the aroma.

The taste is quite sweet up front, with a pronounced fruitiness that reminds me of green raisins, apple cider and something like strawberries (though not quite). Quite light bodied, though it does have a certain heft to it. The finish is quite sweet as well, though there is an in- vain attempt for a dry biscuit-like character to add some dryness. This is a wierd beer, the fruit notes and sweetness combine to almost give this an artificial sweetener kind of flavor. This beer is not necessarily over sweet, it is just the combination of flavors that make me say it is (if that makes any sense). This is just not my cup of tea.
