Strong wheaty finish that is almost like Weetabix. Strong orange in the aroma that is not too bad actually. Cloudy blonde with heavy sediment and plenty of floaters. Alcohol is a little to obvious given the fact that it is only 6.5% spector (906), Lancaster, Ohio, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 17, 2006 Golden body, small white head. Light fruity aroma, not too strong. Light malty and light sweet flavour, somewhat dull. themadmumis (344), Westminster, Maryland, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 11, 2006 Better than the Pater offering. I’m more favorable to the whites/blondes due to the subtle taste differences and usually yeastier pieces. Just a little better than most abbey ales, but solid nonetheless. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 5, 2006 Bottle: Pale gold color, nice white head and lots of lacing. The nose is lightly herbal with a bit of husk and sage, some pith and grassy notes. The flavor is lightly malty and a bit sweet and wheatish. Light esters and some fig and plantaine notes. The finish is balanced, belgian, decent. Nothing unexpected. Won at Dr. Bill’s 10th Anniversary birthday party. weeare138 (936), Collegeville, Pennsylvania, USA

Appears a hazy, light gold with a 2 finger, frothy white head that slowly fades out. Chunky lacing is left all around the glass. Hearty CO2 bubbles slowly rise to the top of the cap. Tons of viscous sediment is suspended throughout the entire glass. It would look great other than that junk messing up my brew.
Smell is of grassy, earthy, orangy citrus, along with a touch of cream, wet hay, and corn.
Taste is of the aromas with sweet butternut squash flavors, along with grassy, earthy, funk mixed with citrus.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied, mildly sweet, yeasty, dead on the middle of the tongue, and moving to an oaky dryness.
