Nov 16, 2006 Bottle shared with GregClow, Blankboy, and Hogtown Harry, courtesy of Jerc. Yellow pour, small white head. Weird chalk like aroma - maybe some citrus? Nice taste - surprisingly - sweet, grainy, musty. Decent drinkable blonde a little past its prime. Not bad at all.

Nov 2, 2006 Bottle shared with HogTownHarry, tupalev & blankboy - courtesy of jerc. Appearance - well, the first of us to pour got a clear golden liquid, and the last got a greyish-yellow sludge. Aroma - weird combo of citrus, spice and tomato. Yes, tomato. Huh. Flavour - nondescript but OK - vaguely fruity & yeasty, bit of banana. Not bad.

Nov 2, 2006 Bottle (330ml). Shared with blankboy, GregClow and tupalev - bottle courtesy of jerc. Very pale yellow, clear at the top, sludgey at the bottom, pretty much no head, plenty of floaties. Sweet fruity ketone aroma, dry odd malt, apple, dry lightly peppery yeast - don’t care for it much, smells like cheap denim jeans before being washed the first time. Tastes of apple, white wine, apple and light yeast - quick finish. Watery body, sticky, flat mouthfell - not awesome.

Oct 17, 2006 Hazy yellow colour with a white head. Citrus aroma with notes of cloves and coriander. Taste is a bit sharp and has a smooth bitterness. In the afthertaste there is a slight warming up from the alcohol.

Jul 24, 2006 330 ml bottle, bought in Frederikshavn, Denmark, as "Kapittel Watou Blond". "Het" seems no longer to be part of the beer’s name, or have they different labels for different countries? Anyway, the beer pours hazy golden with a large head. Typical Belgian blond ale elements in the aroma: Yeasty, fruity, spicy, oaky, hints of barnyard. Flavour is mildly spicy and hoppy on a moderately sweet and malty background. Not a "big" beer, but nice.

Pale yellow, good creamy white head. Fruity nose (mango, peach). Flavor is also fruity. Beer is quite watery and basic blonde. Maybe yeast from the bottle could help this brew (had it draught)? Short aftertaste.
