330 ml bottle. Hazy golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy and rocky white head. Caramel, yeasty, and spicy aroma. Caramel, citrus, and spicy flavours, but a lightly metallic finish. Medium to full bodied, smooth but lightly syrupy.

In the 330 ml bottle from Cyclone Liquor. Cloudy white-gold with a very large poofy head. Remarkable spicy fruity aroma. Flavor is sweet and fruity with a soft malt palate. Some slight tongue bittering bite at the end, but mostly mildness in the experience. Probably the lightest and easiest to drink of this family.

Clear gold in colour with a lasting white head. Spicy yeasty aroma dominates, with some subtle malts in the background. Flavour is a good balance of honey sweet malts and peppery bitter spices. Nice.

Golden hazy color, decent frothy head. Tho subtle, there was a lot going on in this. Yeasy, pears, semi sweet, mild spices, hints of a honeylike sweetness. Highly drinkable. Mine was gone in less than 10 minutes.

Deep golden color, little fizzy head, fizzy carbonation. Coriander and apricot nose also some clay. Light apricot taste with a peppery finish.

Hazy tan colour. Aroma of pears, sweat and white bread. Complex, spicy note (nutmeg, anise, cinnamon). Dusty, leathery yeast notes. Definitely a tasty drop.

Sweet, yeasty nose with some corriander, pale clear gold color, low frothy head. Candy-like malt with pear tastes. Slightest drying effect at the end without being bitter really. Light, quick and thinish, but nice and clean.

A very good example of one of my favorite styles. The flavor is very like Sterkens, but without the latter’s brilliant mouthfeel. Even so, this is quite soft, with good fruit flavors that highlight a near-perfect malt core. I think the fines quality of this beer is its rock-solid core rather than the highlights. Great stuff.
