| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 2, 2005 In the 330 ml bottle from Cyclone Liquor. Cloudy white-gold with a very large poofy head. Remarkable spicy fruity aroma. Flavor is sweet and fruity with a soft malt palate. Some slight tongue bittering bite at the end, but mostly mildness in the experience. Probably the lightest and easiest to drink of this family. kook (2034), Perth, Western Australia, Australia

Spicy yeasty aroma dominates, with some subtle malts in the background. Flavour is a good balance of honey sweet malts and peppery bitter spices. Nice. Metalhead (572), Lake Zurich, Illinois, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 26, 2005 Sweet, yeasty nose with some corriander, pale clear gold color, low frothy head. Candy-like malt with pear tastes. Slightest drying effect at the end without being bitter really. Light, quick and thinish, but nice and clean. urbnhautebourg (974), Annapolis, Maryland, USA

The flavor is very like Sterkens, but without the latter’s brilliant mouthfeel. Even so, this is quite soft, with good fruit flavors that highlight a near-perfect malt core. I think the fines quality of this beer is its rock-solid core rather than the highlights. Great stuff.
