Het Kapittel Watou Blond

Hazy golden blonde colour body with a thinnish white head - nice! Aroma of canned corn, coriander seed, curacao, wheat and some light sugars. Light to Medium-bodied; Slight wheatie taste with citrus and a coriander seed freshness in the taste. Aftertaste shows some corn flavours and a light sweetness-a little distracting from the better taste in the beginning. Overall, decent to try - not horrible, just not great. I sampled this 33 cL bottle pulled from the Kapittel 4 Pack purchased at Village Pump Liquors in College Park, Maryland on 27-May-2005 on the Eastern Shore of Virginia.

Bottle, 330ml. A golden colour with a small head. A spicy aroma with some hop and yeast notes. Flavour of roasted malt, barley, a little wheat, yeast and honey. An enjoyable brew.

Bottle, pours light orange with a rocky white head. Aroma is light with hints of carmel, and light citrus. Taste starts strong with a creamy malt and light lemon, but ends with a metalic bitter finish. Like I am sucking on a penny. Not impressed.

Typical looking blond beer. Dry and slightly salty, smokey flavour with a soapy finish.

Pours cloudy apricot-amber. Two fingers of pillowy white head. Aroma of yeast, fruit, light sourness . Mouthfeel fairly soft and smooth with the feel of fine light-bubble carbonation. Flavor is lightly sourish fruitiness with some light caramel and yeast. Slightly hot. Overall pleasant but not outstanding. 330 ml bottle, best before 6/10, part of a Kapittel gift pack, from Bootleggers.

This drunk a lot better than last nights Pater. Almost clear, straw orange body with short head. A little spicey on the nose though dont seem to notice that in the taste, also dont notice the alcohol. A little fruity in the taste with some yeast notes, soft on the palette not a lot of flavours but enjoyable.

On draught at the brewery tap. A very nice, refreshing, hoppy beer with a moderately dry bitter finish.

Creme consistente e algo persistente. Coloração dourada e pequenos sedimentos. Aroma e sabor de biscoitos, lúpulo e algum malte. Final longo, doce e agradável.
