Bottled at Monk’s Café, Stockholm. Pours out in a warm golden colour with alow creamy white foam. Doughy yeast aroma with touches of hay, herbs and dried apricots. Medium-bodied with notes of yeast, dough, dried oranges, almonds, hay and spices. Rather hoppy finish of grass, herbs and mint.

(From old notes, draught at St Urho’s on 2008-01-17) Pretty clear. Yellow in colour. Hardly any head. Very fruity taste at beginning. After a while some hops appear, too.

Draught at St Urho’s Pub, Helsinki. Hazy gold with a creamy white head; slightly spicy, floury, yeasty aroma rather like a weissbier; tart dry citrus to start then developing some fruity flavours; finish is dry and fruity with raisins and prunes and some spice. There’s a lot going on this glass.

Sampled from a bottle at the great Belgian Beer Fair in Oslo last week. Pale blond body under a rocky, white head. Aroma with late fruits and with hints of yeast. Taste of vanilla sweetness in interplay with spicy hops and honeyed malts. Creamy and soft palate (10.04.2008)

Bottle. Hazy pale golden color. Nice-looking white foamy head. Strong spicy and fairly dry wheaty aroma. More spices in the flavor along with medium sweet pale malts, fruity tones from peaches and oranges, and some yeasty notes. A gentle bitterness in the background. Oily mouthfeel. Good body. A nice Blond.
