Dec 2, 2007 Bottled at De Zotte, Amsterdam. Hazy golden coloured, fair lacing. Fruity nose, perhaps some spices. Slightly sweet with some hops shining through. Dry finish. One of the best Belgian Blondes imho.

Dec 1, 2007 Fruity, citrusy aroma with a slight touch of cod liver oil. Very hazy orangey amber color with a fizzing white head. Near medium in body with fizzy/creamy carbonation. Starts very caramel sweet, with some yeast spice, peach and citrus. It’s not sticky, just something like very ripe fruit. The finish is sweetish, but there’s some hop to help - just not enough to balance. It’s a good drink though. Quite smooth.

Nov 26, 2007 Bottle shared with Octo. Creeping towards the magic 1000 in style. I can’t really find anything negative to say about this beer. Witbier haziness thick with sediment. Enticing zesty aroma wafting with marmalade, citrussy hops and understated peppery spice. Pineapple, conifer, creamy smooth coriander and citrus with a sprinkle of pine. Earthy hops lurking in the background. Superlative silky Blond.

Nov 15, 2007 330ml bottle from Bottle Barn; Nose is of yeast, spices, and a slight hint of funk; Lightly hazed gold with a big off-white head; flavor is slightly sweet with vanilla, cloves, and caramel.

Nov 10, 2007 John’s bottle from Smokeless. Immensely soapy head from my gravity-defying glass, good lace, yeasty aroma. Nice yeasty chewy experience, and pleasant yeast aroma.

Nov 6, 2007 Updated: Nov 7, 2007Bottiglia da 33cl all’Exultate in Piazza Lavagna; versa colore biondo scuro con meno schiuma del previsto, ma persistente. Aroma interessante, inizialmente dolce con un tocco di metallico piuttosto bislacco; sapore dolcissimo (vaniglia) e liquoroso con finale pepato e ancora un po’ metallico. Corpo appiccicoso. Manca un poco di carattere; sarebbe bello assaggiare la Tripel. Una curiosità, comunque, nell’ambito delle abdijbieren non certo la più accessibile.

Oct 12, 2007 Bottled(330ml). -Pours cloudy honey colour with small white head and dusty nose. Sweet malty and yeasty aroma with notes of hay and honey. Short spicy metallic finish.
