Fruity nose, perhaps some spices. Slightly sweet with some hops shining through. Dry finish. One of the best Belgian Blondes imho. bhensonb (4368), Woodland, California, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Dec 1, 2007 Fruity, citrusy aroma with a slight touch of cod liver oil. Very hazy orangey amber color with a fizzing white head. Near medium in body with fizzy/creamy carbonation. Starts very caramel sweet, with some yeast spice, peach and citrus. It’s not sticky, just something like very ripe fruit. The finish is sweetish, but there’s some hop to help - just not enough to balance. It’s a good drink though. Quite smooth. I can’t really find anything negative to say about this beer. Witbier haziness thick with sediment. Enticing zesty aroma wafting with marmalade, citrussy hops and understated peppery spice. Pineapple, conifer, creamy smooth coriander and citrus with a sprinkle of pine. Earthy hops lurking in the background. Superlative silky Blond. IrishBoy (2720), Bakersfield, California, USA
