Sampled on-tap. Pours a slightly clouded gold. White head that sticks around for quite some time. Flavor is yeasty with a mild sweetness. Feel is smooth on the liquid and gives a soft bubble on the tongue. Extremely drinkable. So smooth it almost gives a gentle drinking experience. I am not sure what the differences are between having the bottle or off the tap, but if this is how it normally is when on-tap, I say go for it.

11.2oz bottle. Some particulate. Cloudy dark yellow. Very long lasting cream head. Yeast and yummy banana aroma. Delicious thick spiced banana bread flavour.

A very good example of one of my favorite styles. The flavor is very like Sterkens, but without the latter’s brilliant mouthfeel. Even so, this is quite soft, with good fruit flavors that highlight a near-perfect malt core. I think the fines quality of this beer is its rock-solid core rather than the highlights. Great stuff.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Pale blond colour with large white frothy head. Aroma is fresh, banana, melon or peach perhaps and yeast. Sweet fruity and slightly malty taste. Some nice spices in the finish. Medium bodied and thirst quenching; good stuff.

Bottle shared with Octo. Creeping towards the magic 1000 in style. I can’t really find anything negative to say about this beer. Witbier haziness thick with sediment. Enticing zesty aroma wafting with marmalade, citrussy hops and understated peppery spice. Pineapple, conifer, creamy smooth coriander and citrus with a sprinkle of pine. Earthy hops lurking in the background. Superlative silky Blond.

Bottled. Cloudy pale orange with firm lively head. Fruity malt aroma with notes of cherries. Firmly malty and medium sweet with soft mouthfeel. Estery banana flavour that lingers on into the finish.

Hazy tan colour. Aroma of pears, sweat and white bread. Complex, spicy note (nutmeg, anise, cinnamon). Dusty, leathery yeast notes. Definitely a tasty drop.

Bottled at De Zotte, Amsterdam. Hazy golden coloured, fair lacing. Fruity nose, perhaps some spices. Slightly sweet with some hops shining through. Dry finish. One of the best Belgian Blondes imho.
