Bottle. Small but lasting light brown head. Hazy dark brown body. Sweet mild and relatively weak fruity caramel. Fruity caramel berries flavor with low carbonation and a short aftertaste.

A dark brwon beer with a clear red shine on it, a little head that lasts till the end of the glass. The aroma is a bit too weak to my sense, because the smell is nog strong enough. Anyway I smelled a bit dark fruit, but mainly (brown sugar). The taste goes with the smell: sugar, but not too strong, in the beginning with some tastes of dark fruit, which however are too light. The aftertaste is a combination of malt and sugar and keeps hanging in your mouth. The overall taste however isfar too light to speak of a well-flavoured beer. A beer that misses strength in the smell and in the flavour.

Bottle: Sweet bready-caramelly nose with a distinctive sweet fruity background, hazy, foxy-amber coloured, fluffy, slowly diminishing and lacy off-white head; moderate to solid sweet flavour, medium bodied, soft MF; sweet bready and fruity finish. Pleasant night-cap........

The bottle looks a bit simple, the beer in the glass is really good. Starts malty, a bit "old", notes of plums and raisins. Warming and prickly finish. Very good dubbel!

Deep reddy body with brown tinges and off-white head. Fairly sweet aroma, dark fruit and light caramel. Good taste, not too heavy on the sugar, dried fruit and caramel not as noticeable but went down easy enough.

Bottle. Pours a dark brown with a thick brown head. Nose is roasted malts, sweet dark fruits (raisins) and just a bit molasses. Taste is much the same, maybe a bit of a coffee twinge, finishing with a slight dry hop. Medium body.

Bottle, pours dark brown with a tall tan head. Aromas of dark malt and burnt sugar. The mouth is creamy and flows through several wonderful flavors. Sweet crystal malt, carmel, and a light bitter hop finish round out this great dubbel. I like it.
