Mar 10, 2008 Bottle. Light unclear medium amber color with a large, frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, moderate yeasty, brown sugar. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (200208)

Feb 11, 2008 Bottle. Hazy brown colour. Creamy beige ehad. Sweet fruity bit yeasty good malty aroma. Nice soft mouthfeel. Sweet caramel andmalty flavour with yeast and dark fruits. Yeasty sweet finish.

Feb 10, 2008 Hazy brown with medium off white head. Sweet aroma with fruity notes and roasted malt. Flavor has roasted malt, chocolate, ripe fruits and spices. Finishes sweet.

Feb 3, 2008 Bottle conditioned, 330 ml, aged 6 years. Chestnut colour with thin beige head. Soft and spicy ale, a little thin on the palate, but hints of clove and corriander seeds apparantly in the mix. Most of the sweetness has gone with ageing, more like a mulled wine type flavour although the strength is reasonably well hidden. It’s ok without hitting the heights.
