| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 19, 2004 New arrival at my local beer store. I enjoyed this a lot more than their quad. Poured with a large off white head. The body was a very dark amber and brown color. The aroma is sweet with bananas, peaches, nutmeg and a touch of bread. The flavors are sweet. This has strawberries, peaches, bread and a bubblegum finish. This has a lively carbonated mouthfeel. The lacing stuck to the side of the glass more than any other beer I have seen. An excellent Belgian. mixamatt (427), San Francisco, California, USA

Metallic hoppy sweetish lemon ice tea, flavors then fruity peach and apricot at the finish. Dry fruity aftertaste. 5000 (2634), Hardened Liver, Washington, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 17, 2004 Bottle pours rusty amber, large frothy off-white head, very light carbonation, with sketchy lacing. Musty, earth, and light spices on the nose. Perhaps some ginger root. Candy sweet up front, slightly herbish, with the aformentioned spice. Moderate body and mouthfeel. Finishes quick, clean, with only a trace of herbs, spices, and maybe some caramel . A very interesting Belgian, and not too bad either.
