Dec 3, 2008 Murky, dull dark copper body with an off-white head. Some burnt caramel and some yeast on the nose though not too strong. Tasted pretty much as it smelled, smooth, easily drinkable, good alcohol strength but nothing really standing out.

Nov 28, 2008 Het Kapittel Watou Pater is a cloudy, tawny ale with a sudsy beige head. It has a faint aroma of dark sugar, alcohol and funk. It has a smooth medium body with a light, clean finish. It tastes leathery and funky, with a touch of sweetness at the finish. There is a light, herbal bitterness and a touch of sour. Not bad.
