| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 4, 2008 Updated: Jul 5, 2008Appearance: reddish brown color. Medium head, beige color, consistent, lasting and with good adherence to glass.
Aroma: intensive caramel malty aromas, as well, yeasty touches with cookies and banana reminiscences. A lot of fruitiness like plums, figs and red-raisins. Vinous touches and with reminiscences of raisin in rum.
Flavor: caramel malts in the start, sweet but not sickly. Butterscotch, tea and toffee notes; too yeasty with banana reminiscences. Intensive and lasting fruitiness like ripe-cherries, plums, raisins, figs and (maybe) red-apples. Vinous and oporto touches. Lovely dry final, with fruity hints and ligth but very persistent. Malty and banana aftertaste.
Palate: medium body. Velvety and semi-rough texture. Low carbonation.
Remark: beer with a nice and intensive ripe-fruitiness in noose and mouth. Notable bitterness and great texture. Beer with character and complexity.
