Thin white head. Sweet caramel flavour, sweet and sickly texture. Not a fan on this one. Promising start, but not enjoying the whole bottle. reddragon (28), Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA

Flavor is slightly sugary, malty, with some grassiness. Delicious. A great Abbey-style beer for anytime drinking. Does not require a special occasion. auderale (572), Fairchild AFB, Washington, USA

Pours a muddy redish brown with a very pretty, creamy off white head. Malty aroma with some caramel and Belgian sugars. There is some degree of dried fruits as well. Okay mouthfeel with a relatively high carbonation for the style. Flavour is initially rather sugar-sweet with some plums, a light metallic off-flavour, and a very nice peppery bitter finish. It even manages to become a little dry in the palate. daniele (1734), Italy

Pours a rather strange colour that Im having trouble finding words for. Someone earlier describes it as cloudy brown and I will go with that. Beautiful. The aroma is very nice present but not powerful. Has a bread tone to it. Flavor is mildly nutty with some sort of sweetness. Coats the mouth nicely. The thickness matches the colour perfectly. Dark ale with large rocky head. Nutty, some sourness in the background, growing in the finish. Lots of candy sugar, leaves a syrupy mough feel. SSSteve (2086), Atlanta, Georgia, USA
