0.33 l bottle. Dark reddish brown color with thick mocca head. Caramel, chocolate, clove, pepper, raisins, vanilla, toffee and cola in the aroma. Sweet flavor with raisins, prunes, chocolate, clove, and tart fruitiness. Decent beer but too spicy and yeasty.

Bottle, from a gift pack. Dark brown pour, aroma of brown sugar and molasses. Flavor is brown sugar, figs and hard core molasses. Basically tons of dark brown fruity, sugary stuff. Alcohol is strong. Not really my style, but pretty good.

11.2 ounce bottle from a mixed 4 pack that was purchased at Covell Nugget in Davis, CA. Aroma is a bit sticky, fruity, raisin-like with some light molasses and a bit of herbal spiciness. Again, not bad at all. Dark amber/light cola colored body that is a bit hazy with a large manilla head and great lacing. Quite attractive. Lightly sweet start, before it becomes a bit roastier with some molasses flavors. A bit drier than their lighter two beers. A lot of raisins and pitted fruits with a lightly hopped, light bitter finish. Enjoyable.

(33cl bottle, courtesy of bierkoning) Hazy, dark amber colour with a big and stable light-beige foamy head. Sweet, sugary and slightly yeasty malt aroma with caramel, a fruity tinge of plums, spicy and hoppy notes. Sweet flavour, quite full bodied with a well-carbonated mouthfeel. Dark and cara-malty taste with liquorice, spices and low fruity notes; sweet-bitter, malt-accented and spicy finish with alcohol and a light but well-rounded hops character. The initial metallic tinge fades quickly after a few sips. Very pleasant.

Slightly hazy deep golden brown, nice cream coloured head. Sweet toffee and brown sugar maltiness in the aroma, a hint of figgy fruit. Generously malty palate, brown sugar sweetness, fig paste, and a surprisingly bitter note in the finish. Absolutely delicious and very drinkable.

An incredible beer experience, with tons of flavors playing off each other in harmony. Music for the mouth.

Pours reddish brown with large off white head. Aroma is filled with plums, toffee and yeast. The sweet malty flavor has overripe fruits and chocolate. Rather vinious and finishes off with nice touch of warming alcohol. Good balance - very nice.
