An incredible beer experience, with tons of flavors playing off each other in harmony. Music for the mouth.

Pours reddish brown with large off white head. Aroma is filled with plums, toffee and yeast. The sweet malty flavor has overripe fruits and chocolate. Rather vinious and finishes off with nice touch of warming alcohol. Good balance - very nice.

Bottle @ Delirium Cafe, Brussels. Amber / brown colour with nice beige head. Aroma is malty / raisins / dark fruits (plums). Taste is sweet / malty / fruity but needs a kick to make that little bit more complex. In saying that, this is a decent beer.

Bottled, opaque rusty brown pour with light beige head that quickly dissipates. Aroma of brown sugar, roasted malt, some raisin and candy sugar. The first sip was intensely metallic, egh! Eventually smoothed out after sipping for 15 min. Flavor has some chocolate, light coffee, orange creme and a slightly acidic but bitter finish. Give me a St. Bernardus Prior 8 anyday.

Bottle. Thick, malty chocolate-raisin aroma. Fastastic. Hazy dark worn/orange colour, thick beige head. Taste... so strong! Fantastic, oily palate with mämmi taste, prunes and orange finish.

Tap C4, Odense: Unclear orange/amber with creamywhite head. Very sweet & oily texture. Carbonation is lively. Dark fruits, raisins & plums. Quite easy drinkable though the alcohol is just visible. The finish is short, on that note the beer lacks something. But nice...

Cloudy amber-orangey with a medium beige head. Very sweet and very fruity beer. Raisins, plums, white and brown sugar, caramel in the back. Overall impression of a crusty raisin pie. Lots of grassy hops on the nose but somehow they are rather timid in the taste. Alcohol is apparent. Medium to full body with a typical lively Belgian carbonation. Not very a complex beer although quite effective. Despite its high sweetness level I wasn’t tired of it after a 750ml and that’s a good thing. I’m a happy man because I have no bad Prior experience.
