Bottle. Nice rum raisiny coriander aroma, pours a rich opaque mahogany with a big beige head. Flavor is loggy, vinuous, stewy, venison, sweet & coriander are, unusually for this style of beer nowadays, in glorious balance. Reminds me a bit of trois pistoles and gives that a run for its money. Very nice, quite flavorfull and drinkable simultaneously, as my favorite beers are.

Bottle at Bistro l’autre oeil. Pours an amber blonde colour wtih a thin head that disapear quickly. The aroma is sweet and malty with notes of cookies with caramel and plums. Taste is pretty metallic with hints of dark fruits, alcohol and honey, with a bitter aftertaste. The flavor does not live up to the hype after smelling these appealing aromas.

Brownish red coloured, with a large off white head, average carbonation and a soft burned malty-sweet caramel aroma. Full creamy body, Finish is strong burned and alcoholic, turning into sweet-bitter near the end.Strong beer, OK, but not really my type.

Bottle. Poured a golden-copper with reddish hints. Small white head. Aroma is strong of roasted malts, some yeast and trace fruitiness. Flavor is also full of the roasted maltiness, with some fruit and yeast thrown in. Good mouthfeel. Pretty balanced. Easy drinking considering the 9% abv.

Poured a reddish copper with a thin off white head and poor lacing. Aromas are faint but include grassy hops, raisins, cherries, and brown sugar. Flavors are also subtle and mimic the aromas with the exception of even more subtle fruit flavors. A slight roasted flavor is also present. A considerable hop bitterness leaves a slightly astringent finish. Also bit watery. For a belgian of this gravity I was expecting a lot more

Habersham Beverage Warehouse, Savannah, Ga. - 11.2 oz bottle. Dark orange pour, slightly cloudy with a soft, pillowy white head. Aroma has hints of molasses, raisins and chocolate. Same elements found in the flavor with some brown sugar roundng it out nicely and a hint of alcohol. Good late night nightcap. Thickish mouthfeel, just the right amount of carbonation.
