33 cL bottle, snifter. Rudy maroon hue with medium sized particles. Tall, frothy light-tan head is quickly diminishing. Huge aroma of chocolate chip cookies and raisin oatmeal cookies. Notes of plums, currants, almonds, vanilla and brown sugar. Trace of vinous qualities. Very fruity and malt-sugar sweet up front. Finishes much the same with a bit more acidity and a cardboard like oxidation. (bbe 08/2007) The finish is also rather weak and watery with a distinct alcohol note. Medium-full bodied, watery texture, lively carbonation.

Bottle. A dried cherry and musty malt aroma. Cloudy orange-brown color with slight head. Slight sweet orange and cherry flavor - slight chocolate with a bitter hips finish. There is a strong metallic flavor if very cold. Pretty weak for the style but tastes okay.

Not bad, but not exciting. It pours a hazy, date brown color with a fizzy tan head. The aroma is sweet malt, molasses, brown sugar, and alcohol. It’s quite lively in the mouth. The taste echoes the aroma, adding a bit of dried fruits and somewhat of a mineral flavor. it finishes on that mineral water note along with some malty sweetness and alcohol warmth.

Cloudy dark brown, huge lasting tan head. Light maple malt nose. A slight tinniness is noticeable in both nose and palate.Maple malt, lightly fruity palate with mild alcohol heat. Decent beer that would have gotten a better rating without the tinniness

330 ml bottle. Cloudy red brown colour with a mostly lasting frothy, big bubbled, and rocky tan head. Caramel, citrus, yeasty, and light alcohol aroma. Dark fruit, toffee, raisin, orange peel, and light alcohol flavours. Medium bodied, lightly sticky with a dry finish. Very easy to drink for the abv.

In the 330 ml bottle from Cyclone liquor. Pours a deep rich brownish amber with a yellow beige thick (super thick) foamy head. Strong nasal detection of high alcohol. Superb fruity fig/date aroma. Excellent thickness to the palate. Sweet and medicine-like. Very yummy.
