Pours a murky golden colour with a nice head and leaves good lacing too.
Can make out lemon, banana and raisins from the smell.
Taste also gives that, but more powerfull.
Better than the Pater. scottw86 (184), Maryland, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 5, 2008 Poured a very dark brown with an off-white head. Aroma was of dark fruits with some caramel malts. Taste was very complex I found. Taste starts off smooth and fruity but quickly transitions to being bitter with darker malts. I didn’t like this one at first, but I grew to like the complexity. Borresteijn (1432), Amsterdam, Netherlands

Complex aroma with vanilla, toffee, roasted malt, dried fruits(plum?). The texture is oily, dried plum, forest-fruits, tons of roasted coffee beans, toffee and vanilla. Fine, strong liqueric and coffee aftertaste. Big personality Yum
