Aroma is sweet caramel, toffee candy. Amber body with a thin white head. Sweet smooth malt in the fore evokes honey dipped sweet bread with a very hard toffee candy finish. Not what I was expecting-in a good way. Very full flavored with a nice mouthfeel. crizay (1050), Brook Park (was Tampa,FL), Ohio, USA

Flavor is mostly hops with some sweet malt coming through. A slight metallic flavor is in the background. Not enough to be really bothersome. Teh alcohol is very well hidden. Leaves a bitterness on the tongue. Not really my style, but nothing offensive here. GreatLibations (1447), Last Supper, Arizona, USA

Head retention is decent leaving behind a dusty canopy and a slighty fluffy ring. Aromas of sweet malts and peach pit. Full nectar w/ moderate residual effers producing a creamy texture. Nice! Huge malts w/ a moderate sweetness support a peach pit bittering comonent that digs in. The flavors are very old world and rustic. Theres a defined alcohol presence. Nuances from the tropical region yet aged and musty. A little vanilla, honey, caramel, figs, and dates. The finish is bittered well w/ the peach pit factor leaving the palate w/o the sweetness to contend with. Good balance. 21iceman40 (1731), vienna, West Virginia, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 5, 2006 A lot better than I expected. An orange appearance. The flavor is full of citrus. Somewhat cloying with the alcohol showing through in the finish. Kind of funky as well. Not bad.
