This bottled brew from a bottle shop marked Best Before 040107E poured a large sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a transparent typically carbonated light orange brown colored body and a poor lacing. The aroma was caramel malt and mild vinous. The crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start with a mellow finish with a lingering caramel aftertaste. The flavor contained notes of malt hops caramel and mildly vinous. Delicious and one I would certainly buy again.

500ml can. Amber colour, beige head. Sweet and malty, wuite strong, hints of roasted malt, spices and herbs.

Can. Dark amber color with a almos beige head, strong aroma of hops and flavor strong malt and alcohol, nice bitterness.. Good one! Cerveja de coloração âmbar escura com espuma avermelhada, aroma forte de lúpulo e sabor forte de malte e álcool, bom amargor...

Three hundred-plus years of brewing experience, eh? Let’s see...crisp and dry aroma from a generous head in a 22-oz. lager glass...a burnt sienna body with effervescence... a picture-perfect lager to the light...hints of alcohol early are not a good sign...yet, mellow, balanced and drinkable throughout the sampling.. full-bodied malt flirts with a metallic tinge..."European strong lager" was not in my lexicon before tonight, but I can appreciate the work on this...not so recommendable as it is a first-time thrill...

I’ve never had a strong lager before, this is very good. Strong malty taste, a little hoppy, can sorta taste the alcohol, darker/medium amber.

Very murky orange brown with no head at all. Smells grassy and skunky, slightly musty and sour as well. Not the strongest start. The flavor is much alcohol with a lot of apricot or nectarine. Gets you drunk, which is all the good I can really say. Sharp bite to this Polish strong lager. Feel the burn.

Bottle: Pellucid amber, nice white head and nice lacing. Nose of light perfumey malts and alcohol, subtle and nice. Only lightly skunky. The flavor is harsh, lots of sweet malt and alcohol, punches like I’d think a Russian malt liquor would. Hmmm.

500 ml bottle. Golden coloured beer with a thick white head. Aroma is sweet and honeyish with light cereally character, a bit of orange and faintly herbal hop aroma. The flavour is quite sweet with honey, peach/pear and light herbal flavour. Moderate bitterness. Maibock-like and pretty decent.
