Pint in the Newcastle area, UK. Smell and flavour are bitter, quite prominent hops and a little malt. Nothing special, but nothing bad. Normal english pint.

Cask at the bow bar ... This was the last out of the barrel but asked for it anyway ... Nice deep brwon colour ... SLight vinegar sour nose ... Wonderfull sweet caramel butter toffee malt ... with just a tinge of sharp vinegar in the final linger. I suspect the vinegar wasnt meant to be there but i contrasted the sweet maltyness beautifully. But with our without it it was real tasty and easy drinking

Cask@Twickenham beer Festival. Sweet butterscotch and caramel, too much in my opinion. Comes across a bit sickly at times. Some hops in the finish, but its definitely on the sweet malty side.

[Cask at GBBF 2004] A brown beer with no head. The aroma is sweet and dominated by caramel. The flavor is of diacethyl and burnt plastic.
