Shared this one w/SkyCop32. Pours a hazy golden brownish color. Aromas of hops, fruit, and a little yeast. Has a light lemony taste, with some yeasty notes, and a good hop flavor.

Raisins and plums in the aroma. Dark and complex with a lovely white head. Flavor of dried fruit and sweet malt. Very little bitterness. A lovely Tripel.

750mL bottle purchased at Cost Plus World Market in Davis, CA. Bottle says it is 9% ABV. Minerals in the aroma with some husky grain aromas. A little sweet, but the graininess dominates the nose. Mostly transparent amber body with a small, pretty lifeless light tan head. Lacing is lacking. Highly carbonated, sweet, brown sugary flavors dominate. Some dough in the middle with a bit of a mineral and metallic finish. Pretty watery and lacking body. Pretty damn boring. This is definitely not a Tripel, so the categorization of this beer needs to be adjusted.

750 ML bottle purchased at World Market in Redding, CA. Color: Medium Brown. Aroma / Bouquet: Chocolate, cocoa, toffee. Flavor: Can we say liquid chocolate? Palate: medium to fullness of mouthfeel. What a great beer! It is worth more than the rating that Rate Beerians are giving it. Praise the LORD for the Trappist & Abbey ales!!
