Enjoyed whilst watching the Rugby World Cup Final. There is loads going on in this beer, just like the scrums on the telly. Smokey, burnt and a hint of sourness, full and challenging. I liked it. Smoky (Mes says ’peaty’) with a dark chocolate hit. Aroma is very alcoholic and slightly sweet with plum and other berry-type fruits. Roasty, hammy. The flavour is full, but just not my sort of thing. FatPhil (3481), Espoo, Finland

Smells like a strong bitter, tastes of the heavy oils of roasted grains. Plenty of hops too.
