Cask conditioned at The Turf Tavern, Oxford. Gold with white head. Quite a nutty bitter, hazelnut dryness with a dry tea flavour mixed in, not a favourite combination, but quite drinkable. Pretty standard overall.

Cask conditioned handpump Brunswick Derby. A copper coloured beer with a whitish head. The aroma is plain with a little fruit skins, and some sweet malts. The taste is malty to start with some citrus flavours coming through later. A bit boring. Made me realise why I rarely drink pints.

Small coarse white head. Amber body. Faint fruity floral aroma. Sweet-dryish earthy prunes taste with papery floral notes. Mid-bodied. A bit cloying. Soft, mild mouthfeel. Dryish papery caramel aftertaste. Decent, but a bit boring, and a bit cloying. (0.25l cask, The Edgar Wallace, London.)

Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell. Gold with a loose off-white head; fruity aroma; malty tasting with a slight citrus edge; dry and moderately bitter finsh. A forgetable bitter.

Cask-conditioned at the Cornubia, Bristol. Amber coloured with a slight off-white head. Fruity aromas followed by sweet malt taste and a bit of a dry finish. Ok.

Cask (Angleterre, Helsinki) Orangy nut coloured, no real head. Initially some orange citrus aroma, later maize or bran - rabbit food pellets. Huge malty taste, very nutty, long finish.

Cask conditioned @ Gravity cask @ Hants Bowman, Dundridge. Quite fruity. Apples, pears and plums and a smooth bitterness. Fairly prominent yeasty flavours. Too much on the sweet side for me but the aroma is quite interesting. Too be fair this was slightly flat and getting towards the end of the barrel (av rating given).
