Chestnut coloured with a slight white head. Being a JDW this was served too cold but perked up pretty rapidly. Big malty aroma of caramel, red fruits and earthy hops. Flavour had more malt, some roastiness and a short, yet intense, bitter finish. Very enjoyable. Mungo (2474), Southampton, Hampshire, England
