May 23, 2008 Poured a dark ruby colour with a light, almost purplish head. Smell of coffee and chocolates. Wonderfully smooth mouthfeel with some subtle smokiness and wine-soaked rasins on the tastebuds. An interesting beer that would settle really nicely come autumn.

Oct 8, 2007 Draft @ Bulldog: Clear dark bronze, light head and lacing. Nose of clean malt, light roast and licorice, some clean yeast. The flavor is nice with plum and coffee, clean, full bodied, toast and coffee ground. Nice dark lager.

Sep 27, 2007 Dark russet color. Puffed wheat and cherries in nose. Smooth malty backbone. Chocolate malt and cherries. Noble hops. Mildly sweet, chocolate malt finish. Nice.
