On tap at the brewpub. Semi cloudy copper-red with creamy beige/tan head. Aroma is vanilla and cherry and very barrel forward in general without being too much, also sweet and fruity, dark fruits, yeast, some alc. Flavor is well balanced barrel to beer ratio, sweet cherry, dark fruit, some mollases flavors that tends a little bit more towards burnt sugar, vanilla, some alc, a little cloying in the finish. Creamy, medium body with some active carbonation. I really enjoy the barrel quality and it’s not too much either.
