On tap at the brewery pours a dark brown almost black color with a creamy tan head from the nitro. Light chocolate, roast, and touch of coffee in the aroma. Sweet malt flavors chocolate that’s smooth from the nitro. Lingering sweetness, kinda weak but ok.

On nitro at the brewery. Dark brown with creamy, beige head. Aroma is slightly stinky but roasty, all very light. Medium sweet roasty flavor with slight chalk, chocolate, and smoke. Light body and watery. Not their best stout but good enough.

On tap at brewery. Enjoyed the roasted malt in both the aroma and taste. Medium body. Thankfully---not sweet.

Eh. Live by nitro, die by nitro. This one really suffers. Looks okay, a very dark deep brown with a thick layer of ultra creamy tan head. Nose is very fain, some dark roasted malt, and not much else. Taste is very bland, some roast and bittersweet chocolate. Mouthfeel okay, smooth but thin. Not the best.

Nitro pint at The Hideout. Pours a black color with a creamy off white head. Nose is lightly watery with some hints of chocolate and roast. Palate is hurt by the nitro. Very watery though lightly smooth. Flavor is hurt by the nitro as well with some hints of roast and chocolate.

this was a pretty good nitro....typical appearance of a nitro...nose of chocolate and coffee, yet the flavor seemed more complex than most nitro offerings...roasted chocolate and coffee were expressed more than i thought

On nitro at The Hideout. Cloudy dark brown body, medium cream head. Roasted malts and toast in the aroma. Roasty body with notes of licorice and toast, not imposing. Medium-bodied but light in flavor. Overall a pretty average beer with rather low complexity.
