Commercial Description:
Cask; Occasional.
A simple blend of Pale and wheat malt combined with pure Mexican honey and 100% Styrian Golding hops is all it takes to produce Highgate’s first honey beer. More honey and a generous helping of Styrian Golding hops are added to each cask before leaving the brewery.
Tasting notes: A delicate pale beer with a distinctive nose of citrus fruit and honey. The palate is a refreshing blend of grapefruit, malt and honey, ideal for those long hot summer days, or helping to conjure up images of them!

Cask. Sour aroma, perhaps lemon, perhaps vomit. Cloudy yellow colour, no head. The flavour is very lemony, not pukey, but even grapefruity.

Cask. HAzy golden/amber colour with mediumsized white fluffy head. Aroma is fruity hops, mild nectar and a bit glueish sweetness. Flavour is fruits, yeast, mild honey and some strange sweetness.

Pale yellow, no head to speak of. Aroma is lacking, slight maltiness if anything. Palate is thin and watery with a very slight sweetness, tasted a bit over the hill.

1/2 pint at the Priory Arms, Stockwell It pours light amber/yello with a slight honey aroma. The taste is flowery hops and honey but the finish is poor with a weak aftertaste. Overall, forgettable and lacking crispness.
