duff (5403), Sydney, Australia, Surrey, England Mar 17, 2008 Cask. Pretty bad. Stale malt notes, kinda raw with not a lot of flavour profile. Surprisingly the alcohol shows even though its only 4.6%. Some peaty malt comes through i suppose. This is dull though.
DownsouthGav (598), Greater London, England Apr 11, 2008 cask at the railway in blackheath, london. Maltw sweet nose. Pours a clear copper coloured beer. Clean and soft mouth. Woody finish. I’m not a great fan of whisky/bourbon flavours in English ales, and this beer didn’t do anything to change my mind. Tasted thin and surprisingly alcoholic for the ABV, as though someone had slipped me something in my pint. Not good. cgarvieuk (2149), Edinburgh, Scotland Mar 18, 2008 Cask at kennilworth in Edinburgh ... Slighly hazy amber ... light thin hop nose ... bitter fruity front quite a lot of grassy hop ... hop linger builds and lasts. wheres the whiskey Ungstrup (10824), Frederiksberg, Denmark Feb 24, 2008 Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen. A hazy amber beer with an off-white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of fruit, hops, and malt. The flavor is sweet fruity combined with light notes of whiskey and smoke. The body is thin.
