Aroma - Light biscuit, faintly floral, hint of spice
Appearance - Cloucy gold, medium white head that is creamy, and although not very large, does last nicely, strands of persisting lace
Flavor - Fruity and light malty sweetness up front, hint of sourness and a distant spicy bitterness in the finish, although the finish is neutral
Palate - Light body, medium carbonation, fairly clean palate, but not quite dry enough for me.
Overall - Pretty decent, but not outstanding. Light, some refreshing qualities. Nice to see a new offering from Highland.

Beautiful creamy lace all over the glass. Typical wheat, spicy yeast and citrus aroma. Typical American Wheat flavor of ash, sour stomach acid, wheat and drying lemon hop. Maybe some slight banana bubblegum. Light-medium body is easy on the carbonation, watery and finishes dry. ross (1709), weddington, South Carolina, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Aug 9, 2008 Bottle. Pours out a nice orange / yellow color. Not much of a head at all. Smell is fruity and sweet, some lemon, tad bit of hops, nice! Taste is sweet and smooth, very refreshing, easy to drink. Not bad, really. I would like to see a bit more from these guys, but this beer kind of settles into the norm for them: just average. emacgee (1892), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Aug 8, 2008 Pours a bright very hazy gold. Lots of sediment in the bottle of this one. Two finger creamy white head. The nose is very citrusy, lemongrass, wheaty, musty, yeasty. The flavor is tart and citric, wheaty, yeasty. Kind of still/flat on the palate with a tart citric bite. Thick wheat mouthfeel. Overall I was fairly pleased with this one. I didn’t expect it to be too great and it wasn’t too bad. kmweaver (2484), Sebastopol, California, USA

Pours a hazy golden color; decent white head with patchy lacing. Slightly watery nose, showing cloves, light wheatiness, and citrus. Medium mouthfeel: lively carbonation; toasty, husky wheat presence, light citrus; slightly rough and overly abrasive on the palate; very one-dimensional expression. Medium finish: toasty wheat, citrus; very husk-y. tronraner (1934), Seymour, Tennessee, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 5, 2008 12 oz bottle. Pours opaquely cloudy golden yellow with white head. Aroma of sweet banana, bread, honey, and citrus. The flavor is zesty at first, then some coarse, grainy notes follow. It has a pretty refreshing citrus quality throughout, and various fruity notes jump out once in a while. It finishes with assertive yeast and rye spiciness. Pretty good beer for what it is.
