2006 bomber. Pine aroma with coriander, nutmeg, and ginger. Tastes like bitter gingerbread and mouthfeel is rather thick. Dry spice finish.

Bottle, thanks to hopdog for sharing this one. Aroma is very piney with other spices, light nutmeg and ginger. Taste had too much bite at first but waited for it to warm on my tongue and got smoother. Intresting brew.

Pours dark reddish amber with a well maintained wispy off-white head. Aroma of delicious spice: ginger, cinnamon, toffee. Taste is toffee, caramel, gingerbread, cinnamon, coriander. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Quite nice, not overspiced, malty yet still retains a refreshing quality.

Choco-cherry vanilla maltiness in the aroma and flavor -- like a dessert brown ale. Graham crackers. The flavor came off rather artificial and the vanilla notes held on longer than necessary. I didn’t get a whole lot of the spice. Medium-heavy body. Red-brown, clear with a clingy seafoam head. Tannic. I was a little disappointed with this one, will give it another try while I’m up here on vacation.

Dark red, small tan head. Peppery, earthy, cinammon aroma. Lots of flavors. Plum, spruce, rosemary, and thyme. I have no idea how to describe this beer but its spicey and pleasant, the dominant flavor is cinnamon.

Vintage ’06. Poured a reddish amber. The head was thin and off white. The aroma was sweet and spicy. The flavor was layerd. Started with spice and little noticeable hop and finished with a very distinct sweet spice. Nutmeg? I was actually very impressed with this beer. It was the best spice beer I’ve had. It didn’t do too many spices or not enough, very well balanced.

Draught. Pours a dark orange red with a creamy beige head that lasts an eternity. The aroma is malty with light caramel and hints of pine. The flavor has lots of sweet caramel and distinct malt and vanilla. Some citrus notes, kind of orangey, float around in there. There are also some notes that remind me of spruce. Just a tad of milk chocolate comes out in the finish. Lights hops linger in the background just enough to keep it from getting too sweet. Very smooth and drinkable. You gotta like vanilla, though.
