Commercial Description:
A deep amber colored American ale, featuring a rich malty body. Cascade and Willamette hops add a complex hop flavor and aroma. This ale is exceptionally balanced between malty sweetness and delicate hop bitterness.

Tap at Taco Mac. Copper pour. Small head. Aroma is nice and malty balanced out with some good floral hops. Flavor has some sweetness, but it countered with the right amount of bitterness. Pretty damn good.

Came across this beer on my first trip out to Asheville, NC - found it in the mix 12 pack by Highland Brewing. It has since become one of my favorite Highland Brews. Pours a clean copper color with a light tan head. Picked up an aroma of sweet maltiness and balanced with a small hop. The taste is sweet at the start and finishes with a nice smooth bitterness from the hops. A great session beer.

Draft pour from Barley’s. Nice orangey copper color with a beige head that goes quickly. Slightly sweet malty aroma, with slightly sweet malty flavor to match.

Bottle from Brent56. Cloudy orange/copper with a small tan head that’s gone fast. Decent aroma of caramel, citrus and grain. Lively carbonated body tastes of crystal malt, citrus hops and mild alcohol. It finishes a little sweet and a little spicy but the bitter hops win out in the end making for an overall quality amber ale.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a large, fluffy, light brown heead and a hazy amber body. Good retention and lacing. Aroma is malty and a bit peety...Very sweet with some dark fruits. Taste is malty, sweet with some dark fruits and cereal. Its also a bit husky with a bit of alcohol uncovered in the finish. Somewhat warming for a 5.8% beer, water like mouthfeel with tingly little bubbles.

Stopped by Barley’s Taproom and Pizzeria in Asheville and gave this a shot. Excellent! You really must try this to appreciate it.

good aroma and flavor, with a decent palate custom to ales, but lacked the body to impress me. very watery without the bitter bite. probably good for some, but not if you’re looking for a good bodied ale.
