Commercial Description:
A deep amber colored American ale, featuring a rich malty body. Cascade and Willamette hops add a complex hop flavor and aroma. This ale is exceptionally balanced between malty sweetness and delicate hop bitterness.

7-9-08 bottle shared with lb4lb thanks to emacgee
Semi cloudy red brown with a decent watery head. Smell is pecans and dough and sweet yeast. Flavor is not bad - actually nice and drinkable.. Decent palate. Hoppy finish little bite to it. Goes down very easily.

Bottle in trade from emacgee. Thanks dude!
Pours slightly hazy reddish with a beige head. Smell is dusty muted hops and dusty malt. Almost chocolatey at times with a light cocoa flavor and rich malt and hibiscus tea like hop flavor. Really pretty nice and surprising. Didn’t expect much, but really enjoyed this brew. Thanks again.

Keg at my cousin’s wedding. Nice, easy drinkig amber. Many of the people at the wedding called this "dark beer." Its nicely hopped and balanced very well. Better than your average amber.

This beer was more bitter than sweet but the hops were not too overpowering. It had a very nice color and I enjoyed the aroma. It was a little syrupy tasting but it had a good finish.

Courtesy elmatador00. Poured a deep ambercolor with a thin hwhite head that recedes quickly. The aroma is of toasted caramel malts, grains, and earthy hops. The flavor was much the same with the toasted caramel coming through and giving it a nice sweet flavor. The caramel sweetness is balanced pretty well by the earthy floral hops in the background. The mouthfeel is medium bodied, but a touch thin with a light bitter finish. I really liked the sweet flavor in this one and made for a nice little session beer.

Pours a beautiful deep dark red color with medium bubbly foamy tanish head. Aroma is very caramel sweet with a tad bit of citrus. Flavor to me just seems rather plain - some sweet caramel, some bitter hoppiness, but nothing that really stands out. Overall, just so so.
