Commercial Description:
A deep amber colored American ale, featuring a rich malty body. Cascade and Willamette hops add a complex hop flavor and aroma. This ale is exceptionally balanced between malty sweetness and delicate hop bitterness.

Bottle. Small head, quickly went away. Not much aroma to speak of. Easy on the palate, mild malt hints. OK, but nothing special.

Thanks to limesmut for the bottle. Hazy burnt orange color with a smallish head. Fair lacing. Aroma of earth and caramel. Taste is much the same, with some floral/spicy hops and some bitterness at the end. Not a bad little beer, for an amber.

Amber color with a thin off white head. Not too good. Kind of bland and plain. Oh well.

Draft sample at Knoxville Brew Jam. Poured a clear amber color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate sour citrus aroma. Medium body with a slick texture. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bitter finish of moderate duration. Soft drinkale ale.

Quickly dimishing off-white, frothy head. Very nice amber/red color. Uninspiring aroma of grain and slightly citrusy. Flavor is grassy and bitter with a lingering bitterness. Nothing special, but worth a try.

Probably one of the worst beers I’ve ever had not named Bud or Miller. The only redeeming thing was its color.

12 oz bottle, via NachlamSie. Pours a crystal clear amber to copper body under a fizzy soda-pop like fizzy head that vanished completely. The nose is sweet maltiness without much hops, some toffee, caramel, and a touch of cardboard. The flavor is pretty one dimensional as well, sweet caramel and toasted malt with just the lightest bitterness on the finish. A lingering husky cardboard note comes out on the finish. Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with a little bit of stickiness on the finish. Moderate fizzy forced carbonation. Overall, pretty boring and way different from the Imperial version. Maybe this has gotten a little old?

Pours a light copper color with off white head. Aroma has a bit of hops and caramel. Flavor is malty but not overtly. Good drinking beer but Try the Tasgall for a much better beer.
