Commercial Description:
A deep amber colored American ale, featuring a rich malty body. Cascade and Willamette hops add a complex hop flavor and aroma. This ale is exceptionally balanced between malty sweetness and delicate hop bitterness.

Thanks Illinismitty. Pours with a slightly cloudy, orange-amber body topped by a thin head with little lacing left behind. It’s sweet and malty with slight caramel notes and underlying grassy hop notes. Medium bodied, smooth and a touch warming.

Courtesy boboski. Light copper color with thin white head. Mild hop aroma with caramel malt notes. Decent palate, nice and thick for an amber. Nice malt start that has an almost spicy take to it, and the finish is mildly hoppy. This used to be my go-to beer when I lived in Asheville. Not going to knock you over with intensity or complexity, but it is a quality, drinkable brew in a style that can get boring. Underrated IMO.

Bottle thanks to DrBayern! Pours a hazy amber color with a nice off-white head that is staying nice and foamy. Aroma is a mixture of smoke, hops, nuts, caramel, and earth. Flavor is very similiar to the nose with nuts, smoke, and hops primarily coming in. Caramel comes in at the end to add sweetness to the beer. Finishes with a dryness in the mouth. A decent session beer.

Huge, five finger head fades slowly leaving nice needlework on glass. Beautiful copper color. Mildly metallic-ozone hop aroma is not so much my style. Taste is hickory-pecan and whole grain balanced nicely by some zesty hop and smoke. Light-to-medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Not so much sweetness as expected from the description, but still mildly complex.

Bomber from Ross, TRhanks! Nose of caramel, with light floral, smoke, and nut notes, along with a hint of dark fruitiness as in Belgians; rusty red with a small reddish beige head; flavor has smoky sweetness, with the caramel, fruitiness and smoke! Mouthfeel is lightly tingling!

Bottle and served in a pint glass; Pours ruby red with a small fading head and had okay lace. The aroma has notes of walnut, caramel, grassy aromatic hops, and a hint of smoke. The flavor profile is mostly malty sweet but there is a bit of acidity and bitterness around the edges. The finish is a tad chalky, earthy, and smoky. The mouth feel is weak and tepid. An average brew, quaffable.

Pours out red with a thin white head. Aroma is slightly smokey and earthen. Taste is a bit smokey with some caramel sweetness coming out and it was slightly sweeter than expected. Hops are there but subdued. Very drinkable beer that could easily become a session. Will buy again.

Pours a nice deep red with half an inch of cream colored foam. This doesn’t last long or provide much lacing. Mild caramel malt in the aroma. Toasted and caramel malt flabvors - though both are quite mild. A touch of hops in the finish. Smooth mouthfeel, nice carbonation, quite drinkable. Very nice session beer, but doesn’t really hold up well with food.
