Commercial Description:
A deep amber colored American ale, featuring a rich malty body. Cascade and Willamette hops add a complex hop flavor and aroma. This ale is exceptionally balanced between malty sweetness and delicate hop bitterness.

A little hoppy and a little fruity, I would have to say this beer is Gae. In all seriousness, a decent drink.

Bottle. Pours a medium amber color with a smallish head. Aroma is mostly the malts, with some citrusy hoppy notes. Flavors of citrus, malts and dough. Fairly clean and refreshing, but not something that stands out.

12 oz bottle: Medium copper w/ a short lived off white head. Herbal hop aroma with caramel mallt and a light coffee roastiness. Toasty malt as it gets warm. Pretty clean of fruitiness. Well balanced w/a light roasty and caramel flavor, but all very light. Herbal hop is light, and the overall flavor profile is very thin. Medium carbonation, smooth, lighter body. The impression I get is macro brewed amber lager, clean, liittle fruitiness, and a bit boring.

I got this on a trip to North Carolina. Rating based on bottle, thougjh I had it on draft there as well. Coppery in color, with a decent head that fades in little time. Aroma is malty and a bit metallic and alcoholic. Flavor fruity and malty at first, but the hops quickly overwhelm everything else. One question: why is this called Gaelic ale? I though Gaelic was a language.

12oz bottle-pours a light tan head with copper color. Aroma is a good balance of malt & hops. Taste follows with a hops finishing with a bite. Good carbonation.
